Pastor Del Neumeister
When asked, “What do you want to be called?” I usually say “Pastor Del.” However, I will answer to nearly anything. I have been the Pastor of 1st Congregational UCC in Belle Fourche and the United Church of Christ in St. Onge since April of 2009. I am proud to serve both communities.
My family is spread out and a true blessing. I am married, since 1980, to Sue. We have 6 children, Cassie, Phillip, Kevin, Alvin, Harlita and Bennett. We have 9 grandchildren, also spread around and each a true blessing. Sue and I are glad to share the lives of our children and grandchildren so, ask us about them.
In my “previous” life, after High School, I was in the Army, a short time as a Cost Accountant, a store clerk and was in the Air Force. During my time in the Air Force, God called me to ministry. I finished my undergraduate degree at Dakota Wesleyan University and attended seminary at what was then North American Baptist Seminary (now it is Sioux Falls Seminary).
I have been a pastor since doing my student pastorship in Valley Springs, South Dakota in 1996-1998. All my years of being a pastor have been in South Dakota. After ordination we have served in Selby, Scotland and now Belle Fourche. Each call has been to UCC churches, however, I have also pastored in Lutheran and Reformed Church of America churches. As was with all of our callings this call to Belle Fourche/St. Onge is hopefully our last move.
I believe that we are all called to spread the word of Christ. I also believe that being Christian should be enough. A friend of mine said it well, “We have denominations because of the hardness of our hearts.” Our passion should be following Christ.
Pastor Kimberly Bachman
My name is Pastor Kim Bachman. I'm a wife to Mark for the past 37 years, mother to Jake for 36 years, Mother in law to CharLee for over ten years, and Grandmother to Miss Bristol and Miss Jessi for almost 8 years. God and family is everything to me.
I have a great passion for the Lord and music! I was raised on country music and have always played the classics. I play banjo, mandolin, and guitar; music has been a rock to me.
I ride bike, weed a flower garden, write songs, and make people laugh and feel they belong. My ministry gifts are administration, preaching, teaching, and encouragement, of which, seem to naturally flow from me with great passion.
I'm delighted and honored to be granted licensed local pastor of this church by UCC Board of Ministry. First and foremost thank you so much. I come to you with a servant's heart and look forward to helping in any way possible spread God's love and the Good News.
I attended Asbury Theological Seminary in Wilmore Kentucky and then finished the last few months of my Master's degree at Grand Canyon University. I have a Master's degree in Christian Studies with Pastoral Emphasis. My undergrad is a Bachelor's in Psychology. I served two years at Canyon Lake United Methodist Church in Rapid City as licensed local pastor.
My primary duties here at our church will be to do visitations, teach, and fill the pulpit when needed. I'm looking forward to working with Pastor Del who has been and is doing such a wonderful job; what a mentor! If you have anyone you would like me to visit, please contact me.
God bless this church!
